Lets Head Up To The High Country

Our first stop was at the Stoney Creek Trestle Bridge.  Wow.  The trees used must have been extremely tall.  This historic trestle bridge was part of the old Bairnsdale to Orbost rail line.  2nd and 3rd pic are from the Orbost end just off the Princess Hwy.

Buchan is one of the oldest European settlements and is famous for its limestone caves. The brilliant displays of colourful autumn leaves enhances the towns beauty.

Love to Capture the Reflections on Water

Travelled further up the Snowy River National Park as far as  Gelantipy passing the Dawson Murrindall Falls before turning back towards Nowa Nowa for a bite of lunch. Awe inspiring country up here. Clean, fresh air.

This old wooden wheeled log trailer hauled by bullocks in the old days.  Behind is an old steam tractor.  There is still a local timber mill here milling the local forestry's. These are on display outside tearooms where we had a "Ra" Burger!!
