Willow Park outside Rosedale beside the LaTrobe River |
We decided to head to Rosedale after stopping at Bairnsdale to get Wayne's phone up and running again after passing through Sale. Willow Park is situated beside the La Trobe Rive 1.8klm's out of the small historic township. After settling in we took a walk into and around town to read the informative signage of all the interesting buildings and happenings of this area.

Both Wayne and I enjoyed the walk into and around town to read the historic stories and buildings of interest.
This monument in the main street depicts the horse Patrobas that won not only the Melbourne Cup, Derby and also the Caulfield Cup all in 1915. The horse also made history as the first lady owner for the Melbourne Cup.
