OH - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PART OF WA

This bush retreat is set amongst the old pine mill which operated in the 1960's.
Up to 10 different trails for cycle/walking tracks of differing interests.

Very serene within the Karri, Jarrah and Marri trees which lead to Bramley Brook and part of Margaret River.

Travelling down to Margaret River region with the lush pastures for the mostly freshian cows, sheep and vineyards, we settled into the Wharncliffe Mill Bush Retreat.  Took a drive into town only 1 klm. as the crow flys.  As usual we walked the main street, after calling into the Visitor Information Centre and booking "The Chauffeur Bus" for  a brewery/wine tour for tomorrow.  Finished the walk with a "Dome" visit.

Prevelly and the Rivermouth is only 9 klms from Margaret River.  The coastline around here is legendary and with over 40 places to surf along the coast, Margaret River is considered to be a surfing mecca.  The famed Surfers Point at Prevelly is the perfect vantage point for watching local surfers take on the ocean.

We were fascinated by these jarrah (we think) statutes around Prevelly.
