TURQUISE COAST

We had a "fare welling committee" when we left Cliff Head.  The blue tongue lizard or skink, I think it is called over here did not want to move off the road so a local fisherman came to my rescue and kicked it off the road!

Driving down the coast we stopped into Green Head to have a look.  Quite beautiful place and lots of new homes/suburbs being built along this coastline.

We wanted to get to Cervantes and unhitch before lunch so we could get on to the Lobster Shack for a bite to eat.

Oh dear!  Wayne wanted to get down and be in a bikini!?

I had to have WA Lobster and Wayne tried grilled Mackerel.
Great place to visit - also have tours through the factory and even out on the boats to collect the lobster.

We took a drive out of town to Lake Thetis to look at the stromatalites and a stroll around the lake to exercise our lunch off!!

Compared to the ones up at Hamlin Pool, these are a lot smaller than the ones up there.
Strolling around the lake, I noticed several new and different flowers that I haven't seen so far.  Also new bird calls - but couldn't find the birds that were always on the other side of the bushes!!!!
