I DON'T CARE.........

No, I do not care if they are only common weeds or wildflowers that we see festooning the roadsides and appointed storyline areas, I am very blessed to be viewing them for the very first time here in West Australia.  I may not have found the wreath flower or the orchids as we travel through this wheat belt area, it is still interesting and as we stopped for lunch at a bakery in Mingenew and spoke to fellow traveller,s, I realise how lucky we are to see them in the fine weather.

Stopping at Ellendle Pool for the night at this natural fresh water pool, we found two more "Artdrive" entries amongst the campers.  This place was very busy as it is still school holidays and one can camp here for 7 days for only $5 per night and only 50 klms from Geraldton where we are heading tomorrow for a week. (Yes - Big weekend - V8's Bathhurst, so Wayne will be absconded in front of the TV?!)

This piece of artdrive involves movement to demonstrate the wind factor in the region and the Geraldton was flowers as well as eye flowers which was the artist's way of saying to take a look around. (The middle is painted on glad-wrap)

Very peaceful setting looking across the pool to the sandstone cliffs on the other side.

Several wind farms up on the hills behind Geraldton, creating plenty of energy for the local industries and households.
