LOVE TRAVELLING AND EXPLORING THE WILDFLOWER TRAILS

As well as photographing the wildflowers as we took our walk this morning, we came across old storyline structures, old rusted bed and tank with endless broken bottles but interestingly, also there is a artscape drive competition happening around the whole central area from Geraldton out to these outlying country towns and other townships in between.  We have found three here.

Came across these old relics after crossing over the lake (salt plain) back to the old store.

The ladies cleaning up this exhibit told Wayne he should stand in the middle and special feelings would happen!?!? (Only flower I can get him to be interested in!!!!!!)
Stopping at Mullewa for a look around town we walked the trail and read the stories of historic interest before hitting the road towards Morawa, stopping for the night at another Flower Trail stopover at Canna.  This was a railway township nolonger needed as the railway now goes out to Geraldton from the coal and other mines east.  Lots of other interesting stopover places for wildflower trail telling of stories along the way.

First church in Mullewa now in Heritage Trust.

No you cannot milk that one honey!!!!!

This is in the camp grounds at Canna - township closed down!!! Great new toilet and shower built for the campers.
