Cheeky Birds

We were sitting outside under the annex having a coffee this morning and Wayne was up the ladder fiddling around as he tends to do from time to time!  This scaly breasted lorikeet comes and perches beside him on a rope.  It's mate then comes in and settles down on the ground beside our chairs.  The neighbours in the smaller 5th wheeler feed them and each time more and more birds come in to feed.  Also the rainbow lorikeets have joined them now and neither let the minors in for a feed!!!

Decided to take a walk out to the beach and over the bridge and up to the Solitary Island Walkway.  We had to walk up through a canoppy of tropical trees with staghorns and elkhorns growing prolifically on the trees.
