MINING TOWNS ON THE WARLU WAY

Continuing west along the Warlu Way we reached Tom Price to stock-up on supplies and get our laundry done.  The caravan park is nestled beside Mt Nameless and the park and actually the whole township was very green.  A vast contrast to the red dust we had experienced over the last week.

Enjoyed these little fellows as I did my five loads of washing!

Wayne was keen to get out towards the sea again so only stayed the night before moving onto Paraburdoo another Rio Tinto mining township where a Bundaberg couple had worked in the 1980's so called into the shops for a look and found a lovely coffee shop for an early lunch before heading on and eventually out to Onslow for three nights.  Also the wildflowers abound along the highway today but speedy gonzalas was in too much of a hurray!!

So many colours of flowers, I only wished we had stopped so I could get closer shots of them.
