DERBY JETTY AND SURROUNDS

Derby has Australia's highest tidal range and the second highest in the southern hemisphere.  Tides in excess of 11 metres converge up King Sound and across the tidal mud flats.  Fishing, crabbing and watching the sunset are popular activities.
