FEBRUARY

The big day has arrived.

Broncos versus Cowboys preseason game held here in Bundaberg and Tracey has got us tickets.
Rain or shine we were going to attend but unfortunately it was RAIN for the last week or more so the place was saturated.  As our tickets were for the side line sitting on the ground we went equipted with tarpoulin, ground rug, cushions and ponchos.  We still enjoyed the games and were glad we went afterwards.  A great game by both teams considering the conditions.

Wayne, Tracey and I travelled down to Victoria Point for the weekend to celebrate Loretta's 40th birthday party with family and friends at Redland Bay Hotel.  So good to see them all again and probably the last until Matt and Karen's wedding in May for most.

The following Saturday Wayne and I went over to Hinkler Hall of Aviation to have a look through and learn the history of this amazing man who built his own flying plane here on Mon Repo Beach and then furthered his career in England and throughout the world.  Worth a visit.

Plenty of audio visual stories to listen to throughout here.

On the balcony looking over to the wing-like museum.

Beautifully laid-out gardens looking from the same balcony of Mon Repo House

This Mon Repo House was originally built in England.  Bundaberg engineers/builders travelled over and dismantled it and bought it back here to this site and rebuilt it to its original state. Audio's throughout this as well to tell the story.
